When a 200–250cc motorcycle approaches the Hunter 350’s price, the immediate response can be: why not simply buy the 350? Royal Enfield positioned the Hunter so effectively that displacement becomes part of the value argument.

But cubic capacity measures engine displacement, not automatic superiority. Power and torque delivery, gearing, weight, chassis behaviour and the rider’s intended use decide how suitable a motorcycle feels.

A lighter 200cc machine may offer stronger performance for one rider while the Hunter’s character, accessibility and brand appeal may matter more to another.

The best motorcycle is not automatically the one with the largest engine. It is the one whose performance, ergonomics, ownership and price serve the job you actually need done.
